I heart LV!

Instead of using my lunch for getting food and gossiping with my coworkers, I went to Saks to take part in the friends and family 20% off deal! Yes I am a sucker for a good deal, but I needed some new denim as my favorite pair has a hole in the unmentionables area.  But instead of searching for denim I was struck completely off guard by these Louis Vuitton Sunglasses. Unlike most things I talk about as being mere dreams of what I will actually own…theywill most definitely be resting on my face this summer (God, can you hear me?).

My favorites are the black Impulsion glasses…they actually are from the mens Spring/Summer 2010 collection. But hey…they will look darling on my cute face.

Investment Before Dividend, Right?

I am currently in the market for a handbag.  I usually don’t buy these very often because I would rather spend my money on other things, like shoes or jewelry or expensive coffees (grande white mocha with soy no foam no whip). But I digress, so last night on Net-a-Porter and I noticed that “Investment Piece” was written below the Chloe Marcie bag that certainly peaked my interest.

I shuttered at the $1465 price but that #twowordcombo “Investment Piece” made me pause long enough to wonder if they were right.  Congrats to the marketing mind behind that, you got me!  Is it really an investment piece?  Will it be worth more later?  Probably not but it could be a long time staple in the wardrobe.  But does longevity equal investment?

I’m not sure but my ADD kicked in and my attention shifted to this.

The few, the proud, the Army!

I’ve decided to post my new daily wish of what I would dream to wear if only I could afford it…So today’s wish becoming the next GI Jane in Burberry.  I plan any outfit from the bottom up and I would die for these Alexander McQueen boots.  I see these staying in my dream closet for a while to wear with some cut off shorts and my favorite a vneck white tee (live in these for the summer).

I digress, the Burberry sleeveless trench dress in khaki found at Colette would be great for work or weekend…it is staple and less gimmicky than the peppermint version.  I couldn’t decide between the Halston Orange suede or the Antik Batik chocolate leather belts! The orange screamed “pick me” so if this wasnt me dreaming in la la land it would take me a really long time to get ready in the morning. Finally a simple watch and my Mulberry (or dream mulberry) I would be out the door ready to pound the pavement…looking stunning as ever.

No worries my real life outfit was equally as cute…

Giuseppe E-boutique!

I heart my blackberry, but I usually dread waking up to a million emails about nothing.  However this morning I received the greatest news ever…Giuseppe Zanotti’s E-boutique opens today!!! I can’t afford Giuseppe full price so I am really looking forward to their first sale (Dear God, let it be a good one), but its nice to see them joining other major retailers.  I can only hope for these:

Eating my words…

So back in the day (or the 90s) my mother tragically wore socks with sandals! Not cute socks but Hanes white ankle socks with every color sandal. It was just mortifying!! I finally coaxed her out of it but she still reverts back every now and again whining about sweaty feet (ick).

But while perusing my mag this Chloe ad made me eat my words proudly!  I love  the ankle warmers with the sandals…I cant wait to recreate! I hope it doesn’t matter that I am only 5’4 P.Y.T. but I think its worth a shot.

Then I will try to explain to my mother the difference in what she was doing (TRAGEDY) and this…or I may just let sleeping dogs lie.
